Does StockTools tell you which stocks to buy?
No. StockTools publishes measured information, identical for every reader, and never tells anyone to buy, sell or hold a security.
A publisher of general, impersonal information sits outside the rules for investment advisers; advice tailored to one reader does not. The site stays on the publisher side by design: no ratings, no price targets, no lists of names to act on, and no figure that changes with who is reading.
What it publishes instead is the record: filings, positions, prices and the arithmetic on them, each dated and sourced, with the method beside it. Where a figure cannot be computed honestly, the page says why rather than printing a guess.
