Is the data on StockTools real-time?
No. No stock price on StockTools is real-time: prices are end-of-day closes, option quotes run about 15 minutes behind, and filings and short interest are as of their own publication dates.
The site reads 30 outside sources, listed in our outbound-host register with how often we read each and how far behind its figures run. A page cannot quietly add one: the build fails on a host the register does not name.
Every figure carries the date it is true as of, which is not the date we fetched it. A short interest figure says its settlement, a filed number says its period and filing, a close says its session.
