StockTools.ai provides free calculators, explainers, and research utilities for educational purposes only. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or to use any particular strategy or risk level.
Calculator outputs are mathematical results of the numbers you enter, under stated model assumptions that simplify reality. Models can be wrong, inputs can be wrong, and markets do not owe anyone the outcomes a formula suggests. Verify everything independently and consider consulting a licensed professional before acting.
Where data appears (for example, figures derived from SEC EDGAR filings or STOCK Act disclosures), it comes from official public sources, is attributed, may lag, and may contain errors introduced at the source or in processing. No live market data is shown unless labeled as such. AI-generated content is educational, may be inaccurate, and should be verified before acting.
What StockTools does not do
Plainly, so there is no room for misreading:
- We are not a registered investment adviser or a broker-dealer. We do not manage money, and there is no advisory or fiduciary relationship between us and you.
- We never recommend a security. No buy, sell, or hold calls, no price targets, no ranked “picks” — on free pages or paid ones. A paid plan buys access, never a recommendation.
- Nothing here is personalized. We do not ask what you own, your goals, or your risk tolerance, and we do not tailor output to any individual. Every visitor sees the same page for the same ticker.
- We never execute, custody, or touch your money. There is no trading, no account linking to a broker for order placement, and no copy-trading.
- We do not take a share of your results, and we accept no responsibility for them.
Our AI features specifically
- AI output on this site is educational commentary on public filings and price history, generated by software, and can be wrong. Verify it against the linked source before relying on it.
- It is not a recommendation and not personalized, and it is not reviewed by a human financial professional before you see it.
- Where we publish measurements about AI output — for example the AI Answer Ledger, which scores past AI directional calls against what prices actually did — that is a retrospective record of how software performed, not a forecast and not a suggestion to act. We deliberately do not publish current calls.
What our numbers can and cannot support
- Figures derived from filings are only as current as the filing: disclosure lags are real, are often long, and are labeled where we know them.
- Prices are end-of-day unless a page says otherwise. Options data is delayed.
- Where a figure cannot be computed honestly from the source, pages say so rather than estimating. A missing number is a missing number, not a zero.
- Where we show an accuracy record of our own models, it describes the past only, on a stated sample, and does not predict the next outcome.
Investing involves risk, including loss of principal. Past performance is a poor indicator of future performance and does not guarantee future results. Tax rules referenced are U.S.-oriented simplifications that change over time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StockTools.ai and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this site or its content — including, without limitation, investment losses, lost profits, lost opportunity, or special, incidental, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. No outcome is promised, and no result is ours. You are solely responsible for every decision you make and for anything that follows from it. We are not responsible for any losses you incur or any gains you make while using, or after using, this service, and we take no share of and accept no responsibility for your trading or investment results — whether or not you relied on anything published here. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security.
This applies equally to paid plans. A subscription buys access to tools and analysis, not a service level and not a result. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or that any feature will keep working, we may interrupt or discontinue any part of the service at any time, and fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. See the Terms of Use.
The investors, fund managers, public officials, and companies tracked on this site are not affiliated with StockTools.ai and have not endorsed it. Their holdings and trades are compiled from their own public regulatory filings, shown as filed; nothing about their appearance here implies a recommendation by them or about them, and disclosure-based data must never be used for solicitation or credit decisions.
Data sources: company fundamentals and filings from SEC EDGAR (XBRL company facts, as reported); congressional trades from official STOCK Act disclosures (U.S. House Clerk and Senate eFD, via the open-source Congress Trading Monitor); institutional holdings from SEC 13F filings; insider transactions from SEC Form 4 filings; public officials' holdings from OGE Form 278e disclosures. Data is refreshed on a daily or better cadence and may lag its source. Where a licensed market-data provider is added, it will be attributed here.
