How long do you really stay in a trade?
Press Enter trade when you get in and Exit trade when you get out. Set your own minimum, target and maximum time in a trade, and choose your alerts: at each goal, every few minutes, or at times you set, with a ding, a bell or an alarm that plays once or rings until you stop it. Your history, average and longest hold build up as you go, and any timed trade can go straight into the trading journal. Set your own goals; we don’t give trading advice.
Your time goals
Set your own. The timer reads your plan back to you; it never suggests one.
Alerts
Each alert plays its sound once, or rings until you press Stop alarm (or Escape).
Reminders
Your plan, your numbers. We don’t tell you when to enter or exit.

Pop-out mini timer
Keep the timer in view while you trade: a small window that stays on top in Chrome and Edge, and a separate small window in other browsers.
Sounds are made in your browser and timed by its audio clock, which keeps time in a background tab; a ring-until-stopped alarm stops by itself after 15 minutes. Desktop notifications can arrive up to a minute late in a tab hidden for more than 5 minutes; the pop-out window avoids that. On a phone, keep the timer on screen: phone browsers pause pages in the background. Everything is saved in this browser only, and the timer never reads a price.
How it works
- The timer saves the moment you entered, not a running count, so a refresh or a closed tab does not lose a trade in progress.
- Pop out opens a small window that stays on top of your broker platform in Chrome and Edge, and a separate small window in other browsers.
- Choose the face you like: LED digits, goal rings that fill toward your minimum, target and limit, or a sports stopwatch with your goals marked on the dial.
- Space enters a trade, Enter exits it and Escape stops a ringing alarm, so a double press never ends a trade by mistake.
- Members can keep a working timer on their dashboard, beside their other tools; it shares the same trades and alerts.
- “My average +” sets your minimum from your own timed trades once you have 5 of them, so the goal moves as you improve.
- Hold time is one habit among many. The timer measures it; it does not judge whether a trade was good. Pair it with the risk playbook rules you wrote yourself.
