Monthly roundups
One page per month, built from data we store, with every figure dated to the file it came from. A month gets a page only when the stored record covers it whole. These are records of what was reported, not lists of stocks to look at.
Short interest by month
37 months from 77 stored FINRA settlements, September 2023 to September 2026. Each page ranks the month-end settlement: largest positions, longest days to cover, and the largest changes from the previous month end.

Stored months without a page
- October 2026: only 1 of its two settlements is stored (2026-10-15); the other has not been published or was not read.
- August 2023: no settlement is stored for the month before, so the change from the previous month end cannot be measured.
Roundups we have not built, and why
- Congress trading by month. Our congressional trades are read at render from a published feed of House and Senate disclosures, not stored by us, and a month’s trades are not all disclosed until 45 days after it ends. A dated page needs a stored copy first. The live record is at /congress.
- Confirmed earnings weeks. The calendar keeps the current confirmation state of each report. Our dated ledger of projections only began in August 2026, and it records a confirmed date for a small share of reports, too few to describe a month. The current calendar is at /calendar/earnings.
