StockTools in your AI assistant
Ask your assistant about a company’s SEC filings, its insiders’ open-market trades, its next earnings date, this month’s US economic releases or the Treasury curve, and get answers that carry their sources and dates, with a link back to the page here that shows the same thing. It is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: free, no account, no key.

What it will not return
- Prices, market caps or moves. Our end-of-day prices are licensed for display on our own pages; passing them to other applications would be redistribution, which needs its own licence.
- FINRA short interest or short volume. FINRA’s terms restrict redistribution of its data.
- Opinions. No buy, sell or hold, no price targets, no forecasts and no consensus estimates. The connector tells your assistant not to present its figures as a recommendation. What we don’t do
What it sends us
The tool your assistant calls and its inputs, for example a ticker. We do not store what the requests ask for or link them to you; our host keeps standard request logs for a short time, as for every page. About 120 calls a minute from one address; sources are cached, filings for hours and headlines for 15 minutes. Privacy
