Import your Fidelity trades
Fidelity already exports your trade history as a CSV. Drop that file into the free StockTools trading journaland it rebuilds your closed trades — P&L, win rate, and your edge by setup — with no manual typing. The file is parsed in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
WHERE IT LIVES IN FIDELITY
Activity & Orders → History
Step by step
- 1Sign in at fidelity.com and select the account.
- 2Open Activity & Orders, then History.
- 3Choose your date range (Fidelity caps each export, so pull a quarter at a time if needed).
- 4Click Download and save the CSV.
- 5Open the StockTools Journal, click Import CSV, and select the file.
WHAT THE FILE LOOKS LIKE
Fidelity’s history CSV lists each Run Date, Action, Symbol, Quantity, Price, and Commission. Non-trade rows (dividends, transfers) are skipped on import.
Broker menus move around; if a step has shifted, the Fidelity help center above has the current path. The import reconstructs round-trip trades from your fills and skips any position still open — a journal logs what you closed. This is a record-keeping tool, not trading advice.
