ITEM 4. CONTROLS AND PROCEDURES
An evaluation was performed under the supervision and with the participation of our management, including our Chief Executive Officer (principal executive officer) and Chief Financial Officer (principal financial officer), of the effectiveness of our disclosure controls and procedures, as defined in Rules 13a-15(e) and 15d-15(e) under the Exchange Act, as of the end of the period covered by this Report. Based on that evaluation, our management, including our Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, concluded that our disclosure controls and procedures were effective as of March 31, 2023, and were designed to ensure that information required to be disclosed by us in reports that we file or submit under the Exchange Act, is recorded, processed, summarized and reported within the time periods specified in the Securities and Exchange Commission's rules and forms and that such information is accumulated and communicated to our management, including our Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, as appropriate to allow timely decisions regarding required disclosure.
Changes in Internal Control over Financial Reporting:
During the first quarter of 2023, the Company implemented a new enterprise performance management ("EPM") system utilized for the consolidation of its global financial information. The Company completed significant pre-implementation testing, post-implementation testing and monitoring of the implementation to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting. As a result of this implementation, the Company modified certain existing internal controls over financial reporting related to the new EPM system. During the first quarter of 2023, no other changes occurred in the Company's internal control over financial reporting that materially affected, or are reasonably likely to materially affect, its internal control over financial reporting. The Company will continue to evaluate and monitor the internal controls over financial reporting during this period of change and will continue to evaluate the operating effectiveness of related key controls.
