−Removed: Simplifying the Accounting for Income Taxes .
−Removed: This ASU simplifies accounting for income taxes by eliminating certain exceptions to Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 740, Income Taxes, related to the general approach for intraperiod tax allocation, methodology for calculating income taxes in an interim period and recognition of deferred taxes when there are investment ownership changes.

Accounting for Convertible Instruments and Contracts in an Entity's Own Equity .
This ASU simplifies accounting for convertible instruments by removing certain separation models for convertible instruments.

Consequently, and as long as no other feature requires bifurcation and recognition as a derivative, the convertible instrument is accounted for as a single liability measured at its amortized cost.
−Removed: This ASU also amends the impact of convertible instruments on the calculation of diluted earnings per share (EPS) and adds several new disclosure requirements.
−Removed: This ASU is effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2021, including interim periods within those fiscal years.
