Item 7A. Quantitative and Qualitative Disclosures About Market Risk
Item 7A. Quantitative and Qualitative Disclosures About Market Risk
Our primary exposure to market risk is interest rate sensitivity, which is affected by changes in the general level of U.S. interest rates, particularly because our investments, including cash equivalents, are in the form, or may be in the form of, money market funds or marketable securities and are or may be invested in U.S. Treasury and U.S. government agency obligations. Due to the short-term maturities and low risk profiles of our investments, an immediate 100 basis point change in interest rates would not have a material effect on the fair market value of our investments.
We are also exposed to market risks related to fluctuations in foreign currency exchange rates. These risks arise primarily from our international operations, including foreign currency‑denominated revenues, expenses, assets, liabilities, and intercompany transactions. Changes in exchange rates can impact our results of operations, financial position, and cash flows, as well as the U.S. dollar value of our foreign currency‑denominated balances. Our exposure to foreign currency risk is not material for the year ended December 31, 2025; we consider this exposure as part of our overall risk management process.
