ITEM 2. UNREGISTERED SALES OF EQUITY SECURITIES AND USE OF PROCEEDS In June 2018, the Board of Directors approved a four-year, $15 billion share repurchase program. As of August 31, 2021, the Company had repurchased 54.8 million shares at an average price of $98.74 per share for a total approximate cost of $5.4 billion under this program. All share repurchases were made under NIKE's publicly announced program, and there are no other programs under which the Company repurchases shares.
