PROPERTIES (Continued) To enhance the efficiency of transporting large quantities of raw materials and finished products between the Company’s procurement facilities and processing plants and also the final delivery of products to its customers around the world, the Company owns approximately 1,800 barges, 10,000 rail cars, 240 trucks, 1,200 trailers, 120 boats, and 3 oceangoing vessels; and leases, under operating leases, approximately 700 barges, 20,000 rail cars, 380 trucks, 500 trailers, 22 boats, and 24 oceangoing vessels.
